Technology Good or Bad Thing?

I'm not really sure how I would look at technology. For example I can't really decide if I would look at it as a good thing or a bad thing? I feel like it goes both ways. I know in the times were in now people rely on technology for basically everything. We rely on it when we want to learn more about a specific topic or when we want to find directions of a place we need to go or even just to communicate with friends or family. We use it for so many things that if we didn't have it I feel like a lot of people would end up going crazy or start to lose their mind. I see technology as a bad thing because of they way we rely on it as a society and the fact that it does disconnect us from the world and being apart of nature. Now-a-days it seems that most people would rather spend their time in their homes in air conditioning instead of being outside enjoying nature even when it is beautiful outside. I feel like people are just losing sight of what is actually beautiful in life and what we should really spend our time appreciating. It's not all about the things we created as human beings. It should be also about the things that are living with us and surviving with us. We exist together with nature and the things that are in nature so we shouldn't be getting wrapped up in the technologies we have in our own homes but in our surroundings and everything that is coexisting with us. Does anyone agree that people are losing sight of what is really beautiful in life the more advanced we become in our technology? Will we ever reach a point where we become so advanced and consumed in technology that we don't even acknowledge nature anymore or we even end up destroying nature as a whole?
